    it did, the way you see it is how i got it and i opened it up just to see what i was working with, has no cracks from what i see and has adjustable lifters installed. 1000017548.jpg 1000017526.jpg 1000017515.jpg

    I have two of those PM7 intakes, and both have a couple little blotches of paint left on them, so you can tell that they haven't been intentionally stripped or blasted but also most of the paint was just lost with time. So the paint must not have stuck/held up very well with use. Super rare to see one with the original paint all intact like that, pretty cool.

    A factory relieved L block. With adjustable lifters, and the bores drilled for a steady rod to hold them. Would be surprised if it didn’t have a bigger cam to boot.

  5. 20 more horsepower at 4,500-4,600 R.P.M. Unless you are racing week in and week out how often are you turning a flathead that tight?

    So after having the wife do a little cleaning , this is what I have.

    I think clear is a bad idea. Lots of potential to react with the paint with very little potential benefit. Would kinda spoil the originality too.
     
  10. I’d run it as is.

    or sell it to someone that likes it more and get a “better” looking one
