Any save is a save... And a two door is bonus points. So much available aftermarket so it is definately worth it.. Now make it nice and unique.

I thought about posting the title of the thread as "Finished pics of Butt Reynold's '56" and then saying in the thread that "Butt went for a rat rod look on his '56 and here's the finished product" but I don't think anyone would have fell for it.

I've got no idea what I'm going to do with this thing, I just didn't want to see it lay there languishing anymore. (now it can languish in my yard, like that's any better) It's FULL of stuff, some engine blocks in the trunk and a bunch of junk in the car, some mag wheels and shit, I'll clean that out first and see what it looks like.

The car is maybe fixable, would be ideal for a four door conversion, maybe I'll just have to sit on it until the right four door comes along. Can't never have too many two door '56 Chevy's laying around.

  9. I have never seen a car trailer with the wheels so far apart. Does,nt look like it would manouvre OK in tight places.

Yeah, it was a triple axle, the center axle shifted around on me when I was out of state, so I pulled the wheels off of it and rode home on 2 axles, and I never fixed it because I'm lazy and it still works. Gotta do that this week.

The car is fixable but pretty rough, so we'll see. Soon as I get some time I want to clean it out and see what's all inside. There's a couple engine blocks in the trunk, supposed to be 327's, we'll check those out this weekend. I think I need to find a nice driving four door '56 to combine with this one, that'd be the easiest way to resto it.

so you got one mag wheel, two godawful rally wheels and a steelie?...and I'll bet the other damned rally wheels are in the car and not the rest of the mags or steelies...THOSE BASTARDS!!!...hahaha...looks like a gasser project to me, it's already missing the grille and bumper...just needs the steelies up front and the other mag wheel on the back, flip the spindles and do a fuelie 327...should be simple, right?

I brought the Olds rally's along with me to roll the car around, it had two Chevy rally wheels on it but the seller decided he wanted to keep those. There are two more 5 spoke mags in the car, hopefully there's a pair there.

We'll see what I decide to do with it, it's here safe for now, first I want to see what all the shit inside is.

Why can't I see the pics??? Just a red X... I tried right click and open pic,,, but it don't work. Been happening alot lately. Sorry for the highjack but I even asked in the questions and suggestions but the say its because of old posts that don't host the picture anymore but that obviously is not the case.

I've boasted about having the ugliest trailer around but I'm begining to think I may not be alone out here.
