That reminds me of the model a coupe that I saw at a cruise several years ago. The column drop was made from a really nicely curved connecting rod. I asked the owner how he got that curve in it and he said "that's pretty much the way it looked when it came out of the side of the block".

 

Just a quick bounce we are 8 days and counting from lift off.

yesterday one of the contenders hollered "Houston we got a problem!!!"but today the rumor mill is that he is all systems go.

Looks like we got a couple fellas taking the round about way to the track this year.

But maybe crazy is a good word for it.

The four speed works... traction is a problem... I pulled some clutch out of it, and it did better. But I aint showin my hand to you yahoos!
This was my first pass off the trailer, spun, left off, shifted... good thing I got the 7400rpm chip in the rev limiter on the 454!!

I launched in front of the house for a baseline before I start tuning yesterday. There's no getting it nailed down in first or second (street tires and asphalt). I'll never pry this tranny out of the Raven's hands.

This is the last bump for this thread. I'm off to the races this evening.
