I spoke to Roger Ree this morning.
He plans to attend with a great piece of local history, one of the original Catskill Game Farm Nash Metro kiddie rides.
The Catskill Game Farm was ten miles from the show

i remember riding in that as a kid. i am not sure if this is the same one or the one at "old mcdonalds farm" but here i am......

 

Cool Roger is willing to to give rides at the show.
Do you still have the jacket and Yankees hat so we can recreate the photo?

 

haha i am a sox fan now.........and i really remember loving that jacket........

 

since we are talking about clothing, notice how nicely dressed everybody is. the guy in the back ground is wearing a suit jacket, the woman has nice clothes and pearls and all us kids have "outfits". today it's not uncommon to see people wearing what appears to be their pajamas in public......

 

Show update-

We have Sixteen swapmeet spaces sold, and thanks to @Fedcospeed there are ten cars coming from Buffalo Friday and staying over Saturday.

I have been making phone calls and mailing flyers.

Johnathan will be handing out flyers at the Rumblers Terryville CT show this Saturday, and having a show meeting Saturday evening.

I will be unable to attend the show or meeting due to a family reunion... but hopefully I can pick up some women!

I know Bill Towers is coming his 40 Ford is already here, are Junior and Larry Gorland going to make it?

 

I doubt they'll make it. I think I'm bringing Bills little v8 coupe....unles I bring my roadster....but it's just a pusher

Yes on the v8 coupe. Hadn't seen that old pic. Heard a few stories about that sedan delivery!

 

We had a meeting at Reidlbauer's last evening, a few photos of the main house-


I spent a few minutes at the Windham N.Y. car cruise handing out flyers. Not many H.A.M.B. friendly cars.

I did meet young H.A.M.B, member @56cadillackid. This is his first car. I voted for it to be best in show!


I will be hitting the Big Indian car show in Big Indian N.Y. latter today.

I just returned from the Big Indian car show in Big Indian N.Y. talked up the show and handed out flyers gathered a good amount of interest.

From the North

New York State Thruway to Exit 21. Take a Left off the Exit and Your Next Right onto Route 23 Toward Cairo. About 5 - 6 miles Take a Left onto Silver Spur Road, go about 1 1/2 miles to your second Stop sign and proceed straight through. Go another mile to the Log Cabin Cafe and stay to your left. After about 2 miles you will hit an intersection with Firehouse, make a left. Go about 1 mile and Take your next right onto Winter Clove Road, and The Next Left onto Ravine Drive To RIEDLBAUER'S RESORT GOLF DRIVING RANGE.


From the South:

New York State Thruway to Exit 20. Take Route 32 Toward Cairo. Just After the Game Farm Road Take the First Left Turn onto Hearts Content Road. Take Your Next Left onto Winter Clove Road, and The Next Left onto Ravine Drive To RIEDLBAUER'S RESORT GOLF.

Also U.S. 9, U.S. 9W and Taconic Parkway To Route 32 To Cairo Will Lead You To Round Top.
