Thanks, and Rusty1 is right, we had our share of rat rods and other junk. Every rule had a loophole, and it always came down to the opinions of the team of inspectors at each gate at a particular time. We also made a LOT of people mad with our rules. A LOT.

The difference between the HCPU and TF is that the Pileup was just trying to have a cool show. Having enough proceeds to donate was just a sweet side-effect. TF is TRYING to raise money for charity. Anyone who refuses to go to a show because 10% of the cars do not meet their tastes is just a snob and should go to GoodGuys where 90% of the cars do not meet their tastes, but at least all the proceeds go into a corporation's pockets.
