Hot Rods the start of my 30 ford

I figured i would post picks of my 1930 ford build. I found this car in georgetown, De in a old mans garage. My plans are to chop and channel it and just keep along the lines of a 50,s east coast hot rod.

 

Getting ready to get the paint stripped (Dad always said you don't know what you got till you get her clothes off) well this girl has some rust . Heres some cool name i found inside the car Ivin Hudson. This car also has a hand painted VFW logo on the door.

 

Some rust ain't bad!

 

I like it. It looks in pretty good shape.

 

Blasting done time for her to lose her top.

 

Little update found a flathead out of a 50 merc with a 3 speed over dive.

It's coming along nicely..Drive train sounds promising........
