    Gang:

I really crack up with all the creative names the kustom kulture crowd comes up with. I am sure there are dozens I haven't heard or seen yet, so I thought it would be a fun post to throw some out there. Or, maybe I'm just a dork. Anyway, this could be a way to help educate those who are newbies to cars, etc. If your name (or whatever) merits explanation, explain in parenthesis so everyone gets it. Of course, if you have new ones you've made up yourself, let's see'em.

Here's what I am talking about:
    Bad Guys
    Floyd Cotterpin
    So What Speed Shop
    Billetproof

    That's all I can come up with now . . . . I'm handing it off . . . .

  2. "Billetrash" that unexplainable itching feeling you get when standing near or seeing a high $$$$ "Pro" built cookie cutter in peach with a tweed interior....

Am I missing the point here? Is this fun? Does it promote the gospel of traditional hot rods...?

(I have nothing against aluminum. It's a fine metal-light and strong- and has a lot of hot rod uses. I don't use billet in my car because I don't like the look and it's mostly fancy crap nobody could make without a CNC machine so the gold chain/buy my ride guys think it's cool. But aluminum stuff I can hammer out, twist or turn is just fine with me. I'd like to get one of those '63 Olds/Buick 215's with the aluminum block and polish the daylights out of it. That would be a bit different. Already done, but different.)
