Another Race Truck
@ Madfish: thanks, I think this is how it will end up.
I would have never thought of 2 tone green ... Dang... WOW !
sadly skirts are even more rare than the car ...
I found a set of wheel opening moldings out in California... your rendition tells me I need to buy them
I would love a set of the Kelsey Hayes wheels but I think a set are more than I paid for the car

OK, One more time and maybe I'll get it right. New photo and would like Black running board covers and Maroon Wheels please. Thank you photoshop guys !!
Looking for wheels that would set off my car maybe slots or cragars or torque thrusts up front ?
Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Here are three ideas. Classic slots, new Hurst 5 spokes, and a Buick Riviera sport wheels.
Different shade of maroon
Can someone please show me these wheel/tire combinations. Black and yellow wheels with wide whites and Salt Flats with blackwalls. And maybe a little bigger wheel in the back? 17" and more sidewall. Thanks
No 17-inchers in H.A.M.B. land...
themoose did this for BigO. Would someone care to tweak it a bit?
What I have in mind is...
I) drop tail lights beneath side trim
II) pre-'55 wheel covers (Packard's are nice)
III) '46 style skirts (more square in rear)
IV) shortened hood trim (standard Barris mod)
V) ditch the visor
And thanks a ton to all the contributors on this thread!
I love it!
(Scooped cruiser skirts would be nice. )
Super Duper, Daddy-o!
I can't believe the Packard caps!
Thanks a hundred, madfish!
Can someone please Photoshop the car black. Also the upper grill bar just below the hood black as well. Thanks in advance.
"Also the upper grill bar just below the hood black as well."
Why? So it will look like it doesn't belong?
Sorry my mistake I didn't know there are Photoshop police on this thread.
Looks good to me.
Sometimes it takes a vision to see through the hecklers. That is the joy of this photoshop deal. If it doens't work, no harm, no foul.
Thanks again Moose for working your magic.
Okay -- I apologize for my earlier comments. I should never comment after 3 glasses. I just saw the upper moulding as part of the grille "surround" -- carried thru on the top of the bumper. It looked to me as a pairing of units that surrounded the beautiful selected grille.
The black made such a positive difference. And I wonder how it would look with the black paint with the upper bar still chromed. To me, it would at least be a toss-up. I'd go for the surround. I don't own the car, but I'd be proud of it if I did.
Dear Stan Back,
Not to worry. I don't think there's anyone on this site who hasn't gotten burnt, bent out of
shape, misconstrued or generally pissed someone off.
It comes with the territory. It would be boring otherwise.
You're in good company.
I didn't think it was going to look good either. But, I've learned to wait to comment because I don't like feeling stupid. That doesn't always work, though.
What I don't like is the asymmetric headlight treatment.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion . No harm no foul. It doesn't bother me.
Its my car and I will do what I feel looks good to me. The Photoshop Just helps out instead thinking something will look good and then you have to go back and undo what was done. Which I like have done and I know I am not the only 1.
great attitude, good thinkin'
