Thanks Moose! Any chance you do that chipped picture with hubcaps like this one Ive got on the rear? I really dig where someone painted part of the chrome in the center black.

Could we try other wheel options? How about these. I still can't decide. Please add any other ones you like! Nick IMG_20180921_185440.jpeg 60-series-pontiac-rallye-ii-silver.jpeg

You guys are awesome, helping people figure out what looks good... or bad... lol. Can someone please put Jeep color Anvil on my '30 with black wheels and black grill shell. Don't have a great side shot of it, so use whichever one you like better. Btw, It'll have a black roof... not sure if it'll be original or sliding ragtop.

    Thanks in advance 80681308.jpeg IMG_20180902_143804_963.jpeg 20180901_164449.jpeg IMG_19831.jpeg IMG_54541.jpeg

Kool, thanks guys! That what I have to put on it! I think it looks good. The Cragars that are on it are too wide and are unilug. Never cared for unilugs.
So I’m going to put the Torque Thrust on! Agin thanks.
. Madfish you guys amaze me how you can do stuff like that!

Looks better than I thought it would but thats partly Mooses talent, Nothing to me but I probably wouldnt do it.
I would continue the search and spend some money on wheels or scrounge up some appropriate period looking steel wheels and or caps. just my .02 tho, your car;)

I took a stab at it, although someone else could probably do a cleaner job. Not a super deep chop, but I shortened up the quarter window instead of stretching out the roof and tried to reshape the hump in the roof to flow with the trunk lid. It's OK, although it looks like an awfully nice car to chop up.

It is the car I bought, I haven't had a chance to many pictures yet so I grabbed a couple from the sales ad. I love the look right now, and the car rides pretty good; it has a MII front end and R&P steering. I've always lusted over a chopped 40's custom Chevy but I think this one might just be left alone.... We'll see how I feel in the spring

Pretty good stab, I'd say! You nailed it; I was afraid the transition from the top to the trunk would end up looking bubbled up but it flows right into it . I'm not sure what to do yet, I do really love the car as is.
Thanks for your effort Squablow, I appreciate it!

I like it,, we had one in our area, in Tacoma actually still there, chopped and black,
W/O the visor I think it would SURE look smoother ,IMO, (probably get enuff $$$$$$ for visor in LA for chop )

This chop is only about 1.5 inch. The champagne pearl two-tone shows it off in a subtle way.

Can one of you talented people take the darn visor off the 41 Chebby and show us how great it CAN look?

Visor are for Low Riders and Trucks, IMO..

Wow, that looks great! I might just use that color combo even if I leave it alone height-wise (which is how I'm leaning right now)
Thank you for taking the time to do that!

Agreed, it just doesn't look right without the visor.
