Thanks mad fish sorry about the file size, the front either need larger tires or an altitude adjustment your call

 

So here's an "altitude adjustment"..Looks much better.

What about '54 Chrysler assembly, minus the upper chrome? (The fenders are scheduled to be replaced with stockers, while retaining the custom hood. Hence, the headlights will be pulled back.)



All suggestions welcome. What do you think would look good?

 

OK...Here's a couple of variations....Grill in with your headlights, grill in with headlights back,Chrysler grill with emblem boss and w/o emblem

could some one show my roadster body, not the frame leave it black, in this color with these wheels and 40 ford hub caps in yellow , red, black, or color that would compliment the body.

 

Would love to see this '53 with these wheels and blackwalls.. Or any other wheel/tire combo anyone thinks looks good. Thanks in advance!

That one isn't mine, though mine is a twin to it. I had to satisfy curiosity. But I agree, I think I'll spring for whitewalls when I'm ready to go shoe shopping.

 

Thanks for what you fellas are doing for the community. I have a request as well.

The steel wheels and caps are nice, but would like to entertain the thought of new wheels. Torq thrust or radir seem to be what I see most often, and "look the part". Also, I'm going to have to get a better pic, but I'm likely going to shorten and tighten up the exhaust closer to the tailpan. I'd love to see that as well.

 

I fudged the background a bit and raised and shortened the exhaust to give you some idea of how it would look

Thank you... Looks like I'll save some money, and keep the steelies.

Pipes look like it may be worth doing. Not sure on keeping the shape, but a definite improvement.

Hey MannyK...I've been playing around with colorizing photos for awhile and have come up with a few tricks to preserve some better detail if the image is sharp enough. Here's an example.

That looks great,, I got the inspiration from a picture of a custom 40 Ford from the late forties. I don't think it works as well with the larger top of the 46 ford. Thanks though, it was what I pictured!!
