Art & Inspiration The perfect 50's blue interior!

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Rocket's Hot Rod Garage, Jun 28, 2018.

  1. I'm in search and in need of finding that perfect 50's blue interior. We're moving along on a '55 Ford build and it's about time to figure out some interior . We're mostly settled on a blue and I'd love to find a design that maybe has a cloth insert or something. Show me some blues!

Are picking the interior color before the exterior? Blues are hard to match. Easier to match the paint color

I'd replace the center panels with white R&P other wise great color. (3rd pic)

  4. Might be too 60's, but I've always liked the way early 60's Olds and Pontiac blue fabrics looked.

Stock 1960 Pontiac interiors were about as nice as any custom job. (below)

  6. The car is going black. The plan is to pick the insert, then match blue color to that.

  7. I do like the striped pattern.

  8. This is the original upholstery in my 56. It's nearly perfect.

  9. That's neat. Even a '56!
