Nice, I am doing my floor pans this week also. Mine are much worse than that, hopefully they turn out ok. I cheated though, I bought replacement pans from LMC.
We getting ready for The Lone Star Round Up...
I just installed some of those pans on my '61 Suburban. Turned out pretty well.
It's SUCH a difference to have an actual floor under your feet. Totally different driving experience.
Really looking forward to the next steps!
Red nose I'm freakin jealous! All you western guys get all the good shows. A few buddies of mine are planning a western tour.... When our projects get finished.... See you in 10 years! Haha
Just looked through this thread and got some good ideas for my '66, Thanks!
Look at that shine.
Haha! Yes I'm blessed to be born and raised in Texas, Goose.
Thanks Jason...got a lil pinstriping done last weekend.
Your a tease! On the dash?
Sorry Jason, haha. No, on the bed and tank for now.
Cool man. Looks good.
HELLO EVERY ONE I HOPE SOME ONE CAN HELP ME. I NEED THE PROPER IDLER ARM PITMAN ARM LOCATION, AFTER A FRONT END SWAP I HAVE A 1964 C20 AND I PUT ON A 1981 C10 FRONT END. I NEED HELP ON PUTTING THE STEERING RIGHT. SORRY IF IM HIJACKING THE THREAD BUT PLEASE HELP
Your pitman arm should fit in the new linkage. Steer straight foward and measure how far the linkage is from the cross member and the bottom of the frame. Make the other side match the distance from the cross member and distance from the bottom of the frame. Then drill the holes for your 81 idler and bolt it up. Thats the way mine went together. Mines a 65C20 with 83 C10 goodies up front.
Thanks alot jason 65, love this thread:d
