Finished the custom side trim on my C10 over the weekend. Using some used OEM trim I modified the layout from what was used at the factory. There's more details in regard to the trim in my build thread.

Chevy never installed factory side trim on their step side beds, circa 1963 thru 1966 trucks. Even when they used side trim on the cab and front fenders, no trim on the bed? So, I figured I'd jump in where the factory left off.

The added white color on the rear fenders balances out the two tone paint. Kind of an homage to the Bel Air trim Chevy used on their factory Hot Rods.

I drove this ol' girl from Southern Colorado to Southern California. The stove bolt clicked a happy tune all down Route 66

Thanks for the compliment. Unfortunately I do not own it anymore. I sold it about a year ago. Had too many cars.

  13. Those make good hippy houses/campers.

I got a '62 Ton C-10 hat was originally a camper truck. I have been trying to decide what to do with it for years. I can still get what's left of the original camper and I am thinking maybe putting it back together for retirement cruising.

never the less that truck there would make an excellent camper and with a trailer it would be the toy hauler of the century.

  14. Ive found a '58, or '59 ford like this, being used as a fence post. Ive been trying to purchase it, but no luck so far. It would be perfect for hauling the bicycles I restore. And there just plain cool! ;)

  15. The used to be a first gen F-100 milk truck on an old dairy farm that we passed all the time. I was going to get it for the missus and I to build a camper, it was already insulated to the max so it should have been easy to heat and cool. One day I had about a grand burning a hole in my pocket and headed out that way and the place had been dozed.

I have seen C-10 milk trucks not very often, and if I could find one I would build it in a "Heart Beat" with camping in mind.

  16. That is a neat old beater but I think it could use a couple more fog lights. :D
