What is the pre-registration count up to? I was #91 but that was a while ago. Up to 200 yet?

If you are debating whether or not to go, please please please make plans! You won't be disappointed! I drive a mere 7 hours to get there and that was when it was just a one day event!

 

We are talking to Gene about coming but that's going to be a long way to travel for him but you never know. The first public showing of his car is going to be May 25 at one of our gasser races.

yeah,,, union grove drag strip has been open since the 1rst but we ve only had 3 or 4 days we could use the track,,it was snowing here 2 days ago,,, after 7 inches of rain,,,farms are all flooded the fox river is running over thye roads,,, not a good start for sure,,

 

I can understand the trip part. I sure hope he decides to make it. That car of his you guys restored is awesome , and I know it would be a huge hit at the show.

Jesse....get this....one of our crew knows Jay Leno personally.....they were on the phone with him while he watched the Meltdown Drags 2013 promo vidoe on youtube.....he was stunned and amazed all at once.....he has it on his calendar!!!

Really? Well that will be awesome if he shows. I got the toe boards going in this week and I got a frame I'm going to get painted and do the suspension on and drop the body down on. I tried posting pictures of the progress on here but for some reason they won't post.

Yea he is planning on coming with us. The bone Shaker 57 ford just found out that he might not get to make the trip. I hate it because his car is sooooo cool plus he is removing the tunnel ram and putting a hilborn fuel injection in place for our May 25 race that's all it needed to finish it off.

 

I watched last year and had a blast. This year I'll drag the Li'L Bitch (not my wife, my rod) to race. I'm down for one big weekend and not two races. It makes it more special.

 

Eric,...Hot Wheels did your 55, well, almost...

Maybe if we pick at him enough on here we can shame him into coming I know he want's too.

 

Maybe He's afraid of the other three Chevy powered cars that are making the trip.

Besides, He will only miss one year, because when you guys get back and start telling stories about how awesome it was he won't miss it twice.

I think I figured out the "BONE SHAKER's" problem. That old Ford has a blue oval "HEMI" in it, so technically it's a "Elephant" and elephants are terrified of mice. So I'm thinking he can't get that elephant up here to face a field full of mice.
