    So Iv'e built a couple "rat rods" and I am getting to the point that they are not what I am into anymore. I am finally getting around to my 36 p/u and thanks to you guys I have decided to do it with the fenders. My goal is to have a full 40s era race setup in like 5 years, the 36 pulling an A or T modified.

    Here is the first rough mock-up, it needs to be chopped 4 1/2 & raised up a bit, but I think you guys will get the idea

    Man I can totally see where you are going by just looking at the mockup. These are pretty much my favorite trucks ever. I think it's the juxtaposition of the graceful lines of the fenders matched by the ruggedness of the truck bed. Best of both worlds!!!

    I am kinda likeing it w/o the chop too, well I guess that brings up a new question chop or no chop?

    the 37 that i am looking at getting has wide 5s, I think that suspension will be bitchen underneath this thing

    Angle chopped and channeled, and rolled out of my shop last spring. Yep '36 pick-up are drop dead sexy!!!

    Here's my next project, if ever finish this Shoebox. I'm voting no chop on mine. These just look too damn good the way they are.
