I missed this thread first time around. What a great thread for ideas. Heres a 60 impala in my 32 sedan. Far from finished but far enough to know its doable. I am more hot rodder than custom but love the look of anything tunneled. Two ash trays and no glove box. Steve

didn't see one of these in here... nash uniscope i picked up on here for my project. One of the most beautiful gauge clusters imo, and it's been rebuilt and upgraded to 12v :D

I purchased it already rebuilt from a fellow HAMB member. The receipts say it was redone by United Speedometer.

I think so! I just love how they're all crammed into one neat little package.

This is so great! I was searching the net last night looking for metal dash ideas for my 47 ford panel, came on here today and found this thread. Some really nice ideas some of you did. I seen alot of clusters that could work for me. Thumbs up to you Mr. Jeffrey James for starting this thread!

Heres my 47 Ford with a 59 Chevy dash, took 7" outta the middle and 2" off each end...I cut up a junk 47 dash I had and used the outer edges of it, so the Chevy dash will still unbolt like the orig. Lots more work but it will be easier in the long run.

This might actually be one of the best threads ever. It's porn for car lovers!!!

  15. Well, I know its worthless without pictures, but I've got this really Rad dixco tach in a bullet case that I have no idea what it is. I'll snap a few good pictures of it tonight and see if anyone can help give me an idea of what it is.

Replaced my previous one with a new Knecht.

Old one in back- new one in front.
    They are about same size.

Has anyone used an original 1930 31 Ford instrument panel with modern instruments? Who's - what fits (with a bit of trimming of course).

Looks like 51-52 chevy passenger car dash. Call flat top bob he has several at his junkyard and parts

  21. Modified, and then some! I like the way you integrated the door mouldings
    into the dash; nice metalwork!

1932 Ford pick up dash in my 1934 pick up. Getting the guages to all fit was a trick. Junk yard SW guages and a cool autograph. Works for me. Gary

I decided that I didnt like the way the 52 dash was turning out so I have replaced it with a 36 dash. I still need to do some finish work but its in there.
