62 chevys are the perfect mix between lowrider and hotrod, you can make em fast and quick or you can make em low and slow, and it’s just an all time amazing car (sorry this isn’t a thread about 62 impalas)

One of my favorite local NW cars from the early-mid 60's, Gary Coe's "Gunfighter" shown in here in D/Altered but later ran C/Altered.

Econolines or the trucks like them with big wheels are cool.

    Hello,

Not all drag cars are street-able, but some are… If you see this Silver Comet going down the street, the license plate is all you need to know about the cool Mercury Comet.
    upload_2022-11-14_4-14-56.png
During the era of the Comets and S/S drag racing classes, the Cragar S/S Wheels became popular alternative to the pricy American Racing Equipment 5 Spoke Wheels.

This Comet shows that it means business, with the rather large tach sitting on the dash, too.

My old dual quad 409 62 Bubbletop ... man I miss this car.
Can't imagine it with any other wheels.

I believe they are an acquired taste like scotch. It’s a taste neither of which I acquired.

I love the original SS, with the rounded spokes. The new ones have flat spokes. If you look at the Cragar website, some of the photos have rounded spokes. I have asked their customer service about this: no response.
