    I like the look. In fact, I'm going with a competition theme on my build and I'm considering using them.

    I've seen pictures of sports cars with the headlights turned around. I thought it was to prevent getting broken lenses from stones thrown up by other cars. This was in road races.

    Rich I thought in the 30s and 40s roadsters were allowed to run stripped with stock bodies. Was there a separate class for stock cars, fully equipped?

    In the 30s and 40s SCTA only ran roadsters. Russeta Timing Assn. was formed to run coups. They also had Lakester and later Streamliner classes. No stockers that I know of. Not being old enough to run at the lakes at that time, my first time at Bonneville was 1966. At that time they did run Production cars. No streamlining allowed and head lights must be installed in the original location. Roadsters, today, can run stripped with stock bodies if they meet all the other requirements,

    IMHO, Moon discs are as American as apple pie and look awesome on most vehicles. There is something just so right about Moon discs on the right car.
