Ya it was on here not too long ago, I don't know what the thread was called so I wouldnt know what to search for to find it.

Cool what can be done with a volvo , a friend of mine just sent three old volvos to the crusher but I grabbed the tail lights thought they might be good for somthing later.

 

So did you castrate your friend?

 

I think I would have flipped the rear window. It looks like it might flow better. Great looking car though, especially considering what he started with.

Working on a Phantom Mini Merc wagon using more Merc parts.

Hudsoncustom, tried flipping the window but it looked hidieous . The way it is was the best compromise possible with the cut that I did.

i always liked the old volvos and that i must say is amazing. someone needs to widen and chop one and then it would really be tough to figure out what it was.

I just seen this car rusting away in a guys back yard. It's almost cut in half. He said so his old lady won't get it in the divorce. Dam shame.

 

She was offered her portion. It just was not good enough

Did you really cut the mini merc up?

 

Sure did . Cut it diagonally from the driver side taillight to the passenger side a-pillar at a 20 degree angle. Figured that I'd make a sign for the shop using the bigger section. The shop got flooded before I got it hung on the building and the rest is history
