I wonder if that's a snowmobile engine
Sent from my XT1710-02 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
No it's not a snowmobile engine. It's been posted in a couple threads over the years but I forget what it really is from.
Yes. Outboard engine used to drive blower. I have to guess that a full Hilborn fuel injection lies under that plate, Nozzle at each port and most important, throttle plates at each port. Nothing controlling the intake air to the blower. Engine would be running at WOT all the time. And very lean at lower RPM
Stacks and stacks of stacks...
Y? Y not?
And even more stacks....
Love them headers!!!....
Tic, tac, toe. Three carbs in a row...
NOT just a "lo-blower", That's a TWO cylinder engine, see the spark plugs at the front of it, and THAT engine drives the blower. Really strange, and I can't remember anything near as strange as that. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
All one Hemi today

Loudbang, you always have the best pictures or at least those that "ring my bell". Below is your more recent post and above is a similar favorite of mine in the Pacific North ] West from the 60s.
Looks like Woodburn!
It sure is Doug. For those not familiar, the guy standing there shows how close spectators were to the return road (and of course no guard rails to get in the way!).
I wonder if Livingston still has that old blue Ford truck?
Ha! I wouldn't be surprised.
A few from GNRS...
Never saw that combination before. Chain drive blower on a flathead with a Howard's chain cover. How cool is that?
Separate names with a comma.
