My in-laws are way into cars and racing, bonus for me, I met their daughter (my wife) at a car show. She was showing her racecar...and 14 years later, we have a gallon of cars and projects between us all. Well, heres his toy, I would have built it different if I got to keep it, (like radials/scoop delete) but its for him and he's diggin it. He and my 8yr old just drove it to a show in the rain with no roof.....cool.

He usually likes to pour out my bucket of bolts and build things with'em on the shop floor. I have always prefered to work alone, but realize that I need to start teaching him the skills since he obviously has the same sickness.

That's a lucky 8 year old, ruined for life! You'll double the fun when you get him actually helping with the cars. BTW, I, for one don't mind the scoop....

    :)

    1) the radials RIDE AND DRIVE better ...
    2) the scoop is not BAD ...
    3) at least it has the right stance, wheels and caps ...
    4) Grndpa is cool and helping set the grandson in the right
    direction.

    WIN ... WIN :D
