I have some brake backing plates that I'd like to have machined out. The current ones are very 90s looking, Id prefer to have them with a more 70s look. I need to get a good pic/measurement and get in touch with you

I'm making a few 4-71 2x2 blower tops. If any one is interested let me know via a private message. Asking $150 including shipping. Thanks! 20200818_171625.jpg 20200818_171632.jpg

You are making some great products, they have a timeless look to them, and are top quality. One new product suggestion, would be an aluminum firewall mounted heater hose block, done in bulkhead fashion. I suppose it would need 1/2" female NPT on both sides, and would be a clean, sealed up, way to run hoses through the firewall. Just a thought.

Hey folks! I've got some exciting news. My McCulloch vs57 to flathead supercharger bracket finally came, which means I can start the process of reverse engineering it and manufacturing them. This project has been a long time in the making, so I'm very excited to get started. I will be making batch that I hope to have completed in a month or so. If anyone is interested, just let me know and I will throw your name on a contact list. I estimate they will run around $450
    Thanks,

Tonight's progress on the vs57 bracket. Beeped the dimensions on the CMM, and started to sketch my version of the new bracket 20200909_150543.jpg 20200910_104205.jpg

I finally found a local foundry that is able to cast my parts with the required quality and quantity that my parts require. My first parts to be cast by them are the McCulloch VS57 Supercharger to Flathead Ford brackets and tensioner. I made some patterns, sent them out, and had them cast, heat treated, and shot blast. I am now in the process of machining the first batch as well as making casting patterns for products that I have been making out of billet. 20201023_104403.jpg 20201023_105001.jpg IMG_20201204_142313.jpg IMG_20201204_142206.jpg 20201205_180251.jpg

  12. Nice work. Pattern making is a big part of successful casting.

Unfortunately, the spindle on my beloved robodrill (the mill that makes all my parts) has gone out. I need to pull the spindle and send it out to be rebuilt. This is going to be a pretty substantial bill to flip. If you would like to help us out so we can get back to making hotrod parts, treat yourself to a t-shirt, hoodie, or coffee mug from https://nystromperformance.com/
They also make great stocking stuffers 20201214_121018.jpg

Picked up a couple of 3 port castings fuel block castings from the foundry today. They will be going into the machine tomorrow, and then I will be pulling the spindle from the mill to get it refurbished IMG_20201231_175718_008.jpg

I finally managed to snag a vs57 for myself. It will be going on my 37 ford pickup. IMG_20210102_160851_733.jpg

How about making a finned aluminum air cleaner for various multi- carb applications? I realize that carb spacing is all over the map for these and don't have any great suggestion to make it adjustable. The little air cleaner elements are just too small.

I showed up at work the other week - I'm mostly retired, and noticed that my boss, Don's Radiators is peddling your stuff. Looks good.

  27. Well the good news is you're looking like keeping things in stock on certain parts is hard. That's not a bad thing. Any idea when the gas pedals will be back in stock ?

Currently doing some testing on the new Nystrom fuse box prototype. The final product will replace the 3d printed plastic parts with black cnc machined delrin and polished brass contacts. This box features two power inlets and six glass fuses. I should also have a pretty exciting batch of parts to pickup from the foundry this Friday!

Gascaps, blower top plates, and gas pedals will be brought back. They are currently undergoing some manufacturing process changes.
