The Green Hornet

TMC...The Movie Channel on cable, started running the old Green Hornet shows from 1940 on Saturdays at noon eastern time. Hokey as hell, but some great cars...EVERYTHING is '39 or earlier. The coupe that Kato and the Hornet drive is very cool with fender skirts at all 4 corners. Worth a look.

 

Was watching that today. Nice Zephyr coupe.

 

I just missed it, came in on the end, will watch next week.

 

One of the construction workers was driving a beater '32 Roadster with a 25 louver hood and '35 wire wheels that gets blown up with dynamite...ouch

I caught that today. Loved the way they thrashed that car

 

Yeah, the body roll when they were whipping through traffic or around corners was funny as hell. That coupe would look so cool if it's ass end was down about 4-6 inches. DVR will be set up for next Saturday.

caught it last week. that car is too cool. think i'd get that muffler fixed though. Ha!

 

Watched a couple of episodes today. Black Beauty is cool as hell. I wonder who customized it for the show? I watched the bad guys push what looked like a 20s era Harley off a roof trying to kill the Hornet. Made me cry just a little bit.
