You nailed it. How you managed that nice of a car in that short of time boggles the mind a bit though.

I imagine that to get this done in 4 months you had to have a pretty deep "parts stash".

  12. I had a decent stash, but a lot of the parts on this car were bought during the build. I'm constantly on-line and looking for cool stuff.
During a build with this tight of a time frame, just the logistics of having the right part there when you need it to keep the build going, can be a real pain.
This build was pretty damn stressful and I don't think I'll be trying to do one this quick again anytime soon. LOL

  13. I took the car to The Piston Powered show in Cleveland a couple weeks ago. I guess they liked it... ;)

I had a great time at the show. Don Moyer and his club do an excellent job putting on the Asylum show.

A couple times during the show Don Mentioned he wanted a piece of me at the Meltdown Drags this year. I'm in! Does anyone else want to see the Rebel Reaper and the Goldchainer lined up this year?

I can't wait to get this thing dialed in and running hard!

Saw it in Cleveland, the first indoor show I've been to in probably 30yrs. It was a highlight. Well done!

  16. Got the #Goldchainer to the track for it's first test & tune this weekend... Pretty happy with the performance, but definitely have some more dialing in to do.

Looking forward to seeing you run it at the Meltdown. Car appears to hook and at Byron you should not have any trouble hooking (except for the Pie crust event of a week or so ago). Generally Byron likes a sticky track. Cool car that will fit in well.

  29. Here is some video of the third pass ever for the car. It is the pass which the picture in the above post, where it gets 3 tires in the air, was taken. It ran an 11:22 at 123 MPH.
