You ain't kidding. I dread to think how many hours went into those pieces. Apparently the guy has been doing it for, unless I misheard, 30 years.

The body has been cut and buffed and is going onto the frame Sunday morning...then down to mikeyseats.

Thanks, those tops were a bitch to track down. I ended up buying an expensive full intake setup for a flathead and replacing the three SPs it had and reselling it. Those three ended up costing me a total of $250 for the lot! Paid about $100 a piece for the other three. Now, I see them going for like $300 - $400 EACH, just nuts. The polisher did a super job in polishing everything. The concept is a fairly bright, clean engine, nothing to distract. Then, at the back a splash of red from the rebuilt Spalding, thanks to Jim Linder over at Bubbas.

Easy to make this much progress when to be fair I am only in charge of tracking down hard to find parts and making decisions in terms of look/components. The real work is down to the dream team, Bob Hilton, Tony Lombardi (Engine), @Mikeyseats (Interior), North Jersey Kustoms (Paint) and Relicate Leather (Leather). I am a big believer in giving full credit to those that do the work.
