Swapping one head when one was bad was not unusual back in the day.

 

Well I was down to one bolt having the intake loose yesterday. A wrench wouldn’t bite well and a ratchet head was too thick. I went to Harbor Freight and bought this awesome tool. It has a 3/8 drive on one end and a 1/4 drive on the other. I wouldn’t want to try making a living day in and day out with it. It seems pretty well made and for the money it saved me quite a bit of aggravation.

Messing around. Here is one 327 haha. A friend gave me a 327 that he blew up. I salvaged some odd and end stuff and the rods. I traded the rest because one cylinder had about a 3 inch crack in it.
The complete engine is the one in my 66 corvette. It is about to be rebuilt. It is very clean inside. the ist pic is how it’s been since My dad got it in 1976. I took the C4b intake off and tried the Weiand On for looks. I have been thinking about running when the engine gets built. it isn’t the original engine.

 

If I don’t end up big blocking the wagon this will probably end up on it.
I am working on it today

 

It will probably be what I am driving to Bowling Green this year.

Well a Shitty development today. We went to breakfast this morning. Left the house at 8 and got back at 1:30. Somewhere in that timeframe the cold water supply to the kitchen sink busted even with the wall. Servpro is here now cleaning. The ceiling in the basement is ruined. There is water through almost the entire house.
This is going to be a major pain in the ass.

 

Sheesh, that sucks. Did you get Servpro out through your insurance? Surprised you could get that all done on Easter Sunday.

 

Our insurance told us to call them and save the receipt. They are a contractor that Farm Bureau uses.

 

Sorry Man, that sucks.

I had to escape for a few hours today. We had a water pipe break in our kitchen Easter Sunday. I have been living in a hotel since then. Today was our first cruise in for the year. I took some stuff to the free swap meet. I sold a little.

Well it was a big night last night.
Ethan graduated from high school last night.

It seems like such a short time ago that he was running around with the red or blue Mohawk at The Hotrod Reunion in Bowling Green.

He has had a big week. Earlier in the week he graduated from his PIE academy training. Walker Valley High School is partnering with a lot of local industry and businesses to offer training. The students get training from the businesses in the area for jobs they need filled.

He trained with Wright Brothers Construction. Tuesday they had a ceremony for those students. They had a sign on ceremony for 6 seniors. They gave him a job. He will be driving the articulating dump truck behind the group.

he will be gone for 11 days and home for 3. So far we are unsure where he will be. The 3 places that they have said are. Alpharetta Georgia, Camden Tennessee, or Crossville Tennessee. We hope it is Crossville because one of my oldest friends lives there. If he needed help Wayne would be able to get there pretty quick.

they taught him to run the TrackHoe, Backhoe, Dozer, Grader, Dump Truck, and the Construction Forklift.
