It is usually a good swap meet

 

The swap meet was ok today. Saw some bargains but nothing I needed.

 

Worked on the Vette today. We made a little headway but not much. Hopefully get to get back on it Wednesday evening.

 

Well we didn’t go out tonight we didn’t have anyone to stay with the kids.
Our anniversary is in March so we just get each other cards for Valentine’s Day.

I am having a tooth fixed tomorrow evening then a wisdom tooth cut out Friday morning. She said my friend Darrin and I had some momentum going on the car so my valentine day present was him coming over and us working some more on it.
She is a great lady.

I finally got the straps for the tank bolted down. We got the emergency brake shoes and hardware replaced. Also the emergency brake cable was changed.

Got to put the rear calipers on then we bleed the brakes.

Keep plugging along

 

Watch out lots of videos on Americans funniest home videos showing people still a bit out of it when getting a ride home after having wisdom teeth removed. Some crazy videos.

I foresee a root canal and a crown on the one I am having fixed today. Fortunately I am only having 1 wisdom tooth cut out. the other 2 are already gone.

 

How's your project coming along?

 

Good! Not much progress to take pictures of this week. Tomorrow we're taking the motor to the machine shop. Starting a list of parts. What started out as a inspect, clean, and freshen up. Has turned into a aluminum headed stroker motor! I'll get back to welding up the headers after this weekend.

That was a pretty cool car.

 

Pecking away at the car a little at a time.
Got the brakes done except for bleeding

Got the tank in and bolted down. This evening I put the new tank sending unit in.

This Saturday Ethan and I are going to Pigeon Forge for the Corvette Expo.

Seems to me you and Ethan are used to that big wagon!
Should make for some creative packing for the trip.
