    really nice cars , but to me it starts with nosed and decked as a threshold for any car to be a "custom"...

    For starters , the must have to be a custom is white walls and a lowered stance,and getting rid of the stock hubcaps or non traditional wheels. Noseing and decking would come later as minor body modifications are made.

    if it has a hood ornament it is not a custom mild or otherwise---it is a stocker, may sit low may have nice paint, white walls are an era thing that was mostly over by the early sixties...

    MODIFICATION CLASS LIST

    Conservative = 0-4 modifications
    Mild = 5-7 modifications
    Semi = 8-11 modifications
    Full = 12 or more modifications
    Radical = must be chopped, channeled or sectioned

    I think this car or one very similar was for sale up here in the Pacific NW within the last 6 months.

    206tee - thanks for the kind words. My car has been a labor of love for everyone involved. It was a big deal to me to be able to debut it at the Sacramento Autorama in February. I'm looking forward to putting some miles on it...
