    What he said ^

The focus should be on the metalwork results, not on flashy stuff. Maybe even a stock mohair interior.

the rendering looks great! but the body doesn't look channeled in it. do you really need to channel it a whole 10"? how tall is your frame rail?

The car looks good but frankly I am drooling on what I see on the racks sitting beside and behind it. I do love tools and equipment! lol

how tall are you? with a 4" chop and 10 " channel there is not going to be too much room.

    Update......

Now that Chris has the lift installed in the shop, he can start on his project. He will be robbing the 327 out of his Chevelle to put in the 30'

Hi all, this is Chris from RMD, been lurking for years, i think this will be my first post! The information on here is incredible, almost too much to absorb. I am going to build the 30' here at the shop.
About the 30' frame......i guess my 10" channel was misleading, it will be more like a 10" body drop from stock. The frame will sit slightly into the body with like a 3" actual channel into the body, but with the way i have the frame drawn up it will drop down to give a good look IMHO, not slammed too much. I want to be able to see the ladder structure of the frame from the outside, but not all of it. i hope my rambling made sense.
I am going to use the stock grill.

    Some tennative specs
-327 small block, Alum heads, 30 over, mild street cam, induction is up in the air at this point
    -700r4 tranny
-12 bolt posi from the Chevelle

The Chevelle on the other hand is getting a LS3 crate engine with a Tremec 6speed and a currie 9"

Thanks for all of the input!

    Chris
