    So, I have a question. When you guys lay out your scallops with the different colored outline, do you come back and spray the different color first, then back tape it with say 1/4" and then respray the other color, un-tape and then clear?
     
  11. That what I did. ^^^^^^^ Most are pinstriped as far as I know.

    Watson told me that he would do 1/2 of the vehicle and use tracing paper and dust bag to get the other 1/2 exact. I was fortunate to have my son lay the 1/4" tape for all the scallops freehand or I would probably have done it in the earlier Grapevine version. Also after pulling all the tape I took a scotch brite to knock the edges down...Wrong...Do not do that, unless you want minute scratches.
    Oh well never planned on a show car, she was always a driver....Next, you will want a pinstriper to finish the job.
    There's been a ton of great pictures in this thread, hope you find one that is "the one" to inspire
