Event Coverage The 2nd annual Lone Star Deluxe Car & Music Expo, Texas City TX 04-26-14

I missed it last year but I'm gonna make it this time.
Brokenspoke and 65gregg.....you two gonna meet up with our group for breakfast and join the caravan to the event?

Damn....I hope so. Ratty Caddy isn't finished either ....but I'm still showing up to Check things out. Bring it and we will start a trend or something.

 

First at the shell station on hwy 6 at 288 then cruising to kellys country cookin in Alvin

 

still trying to get my guys organized and in agreement on a meeting place... a few of us from Katy will be there... looking forward to it...

 

Headed up the coast for the show. Looks like the weather's gonna be great.

I guess when you are "The Chosen One" you get to have guys, hmmmm. Hate that I missed yesterday's fun, woke up too sick to wander very far from home. Somebody please get some pictures up so I know what I missed this year.

Well, it turned perfect. We ran into a fine mist just before we hit Texas City. Pressed on and had a great time.

 

Second that,caught my attention from a distance right away.

I hit light rain/drizzle before West Columbia & was in it 'til about Alvin. Didn't damper my spirits either. That is why my car looked like it hadn't been washed in months, though.

 

Guys I can't thank you all enough for the support, my team & I worked hard & we appreciate each & every single one of the bands, artist, vendors, sponsors, car owners, the city of Texas City & everyone else who helped us out. The 3rd annual show has officially been booked for April 25th 2015!
