It's simple. We polled a few of our favorite builders at the 2011 Grand National Roadster Show and asked them what their favorite roadster of the event was... And now, you guys get to vote for your favorite from the bunch.

UPDATE: Voting will end at around 11am (Cali time) on Sunday morning and the car with the most votes will win the third annual Jalopy Journal: Best Roadster trophy that was built and delivered by Acme Speed Shop. More on the trophy later... For now, here's the 2011 entrants.

I had to plug a hole for #1 also. Not because of the color.... for sure, but because the attention to detail on everything shows very well in the pics.

The effort of the display counted for a bout ten extra points in my head also. As did that well tricked out flathead.

And I'm a small block Chevy kinda guy....

#1 for me, too, but choosing felt like my head was gunna explode! No way could I pick a favorite between Steve's (Period perfection and that interior and all the other details in black, gold and white where just about everybody would've used red!) or Pat's (That color and that Caddy!) '32s.

Gotta point out though that the 3/4 front view of the #8 RPU is just perfection; the way that exhaust swoops down and flows so nicely, complementing the character line in the frame rail and the body lines in the cowl!

But the "Take Out T," in concept and execution is the real standout! How cool to see a full-dress flathead in a very '60s style show rod. Love the low roof line and that beautiful, beautiful color and that it's got a turtledeck, and not a shorty pickup bed or round gas tank.

I gotta go with #1, it epitomizes what the GNRS is supposed to be. But that color...
