One of the best. The lines were amazing even in stock form. And when customized correctly nothing comes close imho.

See, I read it and I guess that's what confused me. Just a little senior moment! Spent hours, as a youth, drawing the profiles of these cars. Unlike humans, they are ageless.

Anyone know how the Rebel Without a Cause car was customized? I always thought it was stock but haven't seen the film in a while...

I believe it was a stocker with skirts and a bit of lowering, you could google it I’m sure.

From what I can see in clips, the 'Rebel' Mercury was:
    1. Lowered
    2. Nose badge shaved
    3. Deck lid shaved
    4. Custom wheel covers
    5. Skirts
    6. Custom shift knob

Had a 49 Merc with overdrive light green coupe. My Dad was mad at me for having 800:15's on the back and 590:15's on the front. I just didn't appreciate it enough then. I sold it to buy my first 57 Chevy Bel
    Air tu-door.
