i had placed a add on the internet that i was looking for a frame for a model A well i got some replys back but they were crazy ..the prices were way to high for what they had for a stock frame i coulda bought the frame i really wanted from o'rielly .hope i spelt it correct anyway i didnt have that kinda bread so a guy from long island sends me a message saying he has a frame for 300 bucks i was like ok ill pick it up ..so long story short im thinking im going to pick up a junk frame i get there and look at it,the damn thing was really nice looked like he just took it out from under a clean coupe so i load it up ,pay the guy turns out he's on the h.a.m.b his name is bob dont know his screen name,he is from port jeff new york.just wanted to say thanks for the frame .ill be rolling in no time
That's great. When you can get your parts for reasonable prices from reasonable people, it helps to make the build a good experience...shades of the distant past when hot rodders used to trade and share a lot more, 'cause the parts were inexpensive. Good luck with your hot rod! - Rick
thanks he also had a bunch of cool cars and parts he told me to make him a list and he will let me knwo what he has ..he has abunch of flat head stuff but no motors and there hard to get over here ...so i cant go that route ..

yea he was a cool guy ..i couldnt talk to long i was feezing outside his place so i told him i talk another time he said he was working on a 32 5 window tradditional ...didnt see it though didnt wanna ask to see it and be rude ya know..
Model A frames are hard to find in your area? scullboy lives in your area of the country, and when I was talking with him a while back, he mentioned that model A cars themselves are difficult to find around there. I wonder why that is? I live in Michigan in the "thumb", and they aren't too hard to find...engines, frames, cars. Maybe 'cause they were made here? I mean, they don't grow on trees, but you can find them. Then again, I know a couple of guys. Just wondered. - Rick
