When I visited the Caribbean it was humid, like Texas or Georgia. Hardly the best...

 

The Peterson Museum is probably one of the coolest places I have aver been in my entire life make sure you hit that place. You wont be sorry.

 

Weren't the Black Widows from Pacoima?

 

I'm not sure what you are into but if you are looking for bars and music events during the week I recommend checking out these sites for the dates you will be in the area. I mapped the locations from Pacoima, CA for you. SoCal traffic if brutal so unless you are REALLY itching to see some bands, I would not travel any further than 30 miles.

You are correct sir.And there are some secret spots to eat.During Market Night on Thursdays,there is this little food booth that has the best damn carne asada or pollo burritos ever,for dirt cheap.Oh man,I think I'm going to have to get one tomorrow night before work now.

 

The Merl Norman museum is a great place too
they did not want to let us in with jeans t shirts and tennis shoes but we said we came here from Texas and this was all we brought ? and they let us in .

Amen to that! Venice and Huntington are to beaches what Brittney Spears is to classic Jazz. Del Mar isn't too bad if you can get past the plastic women carrying tiny dogs and driving Cayennes.

LA has so much to offer, nothing is food related

I've been to LA a few times , never cared for food......

Well i always liked the little mexican resturants where the signs in the windows are
spelled in spanish......fresh and cheap food.There are all over.

 

This is why the US had an obesity problem! Guess this thread is proof that we think with our stomachs a little... LOL!

 

UPDATE: Things got pushed around, I'll be headed to CA August 19 for a few days. Awaiting my phone call from the headquarters with all the details and what not.
