    Hello:

I have used the search function, and scoured the results for information regarding titling, and getting plates in Texas- however, none of what I have read has clearly defined a process that adresses my situation. Here is what I am trying to do:

I have a 27 roadster (glass) that I purchased w/ a Michigan Title(which I have), however, it is titled as 1988 Assembled. (I used the frame rails and body in my build)

I would like to title it in Texas as Antique, but according to the Michigan title, it isn't 25 years old yet.

Could you folks offer me some input in making this happen, or am I SOL in getting the antique plates for it?

    Thanks in Advance,
    Dave

If it's titled as an 1988 model car, you have to wait until it's 25 years old to get antique plates. You also are SUPPOSED to have all emissions and other federally-mandated equipment for a 1988-model car.
