It is indeed appropriate to include swap meets on your schedule -- they're some of the premier car events IMHO. So add Decatur and Fredericksburg Swap Meets to your list. I also believe you can obtain specific date and location information simply by goggling the event's name ... your list, your job!
This is a great thread. I created this Google calendar to list the traditional shows and swap meets in Texas. You guys keep them coming and I will add them to the list for this year. Please limit the shows to the ones that are mainly traditional minded and try to give as much info as you can, especially a web site if they have one. Save this shortcut and you should be able to see this calendar right in your browser or phone when ever you want. https://www.google.com/calendar/emb...group.calendar.google.com&ctz=America/Chicago Try the "Agenda" view to see all the events as a list instead of going through the months.
i'll be in san antonio feb 17 t0 the 27 any car stuff going on were do the cars hang out on a saturday night
Its more of a car show than a swap meet. the swap meet kinda disappointed me really. a lot of vendors for knick knacks though. maybe it will be better this year
EVERY friday people meet up in the parking lot of the Pig Stand on Broadway St. close to downtown. Everyone's pretty friendly for the most part. You can never tell if it's gonna be packed or dead you just gotta go by. On Saturdays and Sunday you can find people cruising and parking at Brackenridge Park off Broadway St.
I bookmarked your link, it's awesome. I'm so glad you joined this thread! Calling all Texans! Keep them shows coming!
Right on, we will keep it going. I want to add all the Pig Stand swap meets when the schedule comes out too. I always forget them when the last Sunday is not at the very end of the month!
