I just read that Ted A. Brown has passed away. Please keep his wife Shirley, his son TR and all of his family members in your prayers. Ron Abner
Sad news. I used to get the odd email from him. Ted is a member of the HAMB. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/members/ted-brown.98721/
A friend and a Gentleman. I will miss our email chats and his opening words for almost every chat. Heeeelowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Gerry He had a pic of my T as the wallpaper on his PC. The BEST compliment for my T that I could ever wish for. I did wonder why he had not mailed me for a couple of months. The man needs remembering for what he did. The T Bucket scene would not be what it was, is and will be without Teds originality way back then Respect and fond farewells Ted, I will miss you G
That's sad to hear. I never met the man, but his "T" was the gold standard of T-buckets. Parking lot Early Times run in LA, 1968.
Always loved the mean look of that"T" in the magazine ads. God speed Mr Brown, my condolences to the family.
I have emailed him several times from the T bucket site. He seemed a wealth of info and was always happy to share . he will be missed.
