Impressive work Kartsa! It will be one amazing newcomer in the Finnish custom scene when you guys get it ready! I hope Peksu joins the big HAMB family... So if you read this, they have a friday art show here, every week or so... Oh, and those stripes inside the Watson scallops are actually small bumerang-shaped striped silver lines, handpainted by owner!

Hi Gents, I am so glad to see that you like our ride. Lots of stuff is coming in to the car in this winter, dunno if I get in on the road in time for the summer. Kartsa is doing good work and after he gets his stuff done, we'll continue with airbags, subframe, "big block" -straight-6 302, etc. There's some other tricks waiting after all this is done. All in the late 50's spirit though.
This is my first message in HAMB, just joined here but I try to get some pics for you to check out what I've been involved recently.

    Stunning, as always.
I really love that extruded metal center strip, where did you get that stuff?
That pinstriped kidney pattern in the scallops is fantastically space age. Great car.

Since the car is Pontiac it obviously has already a chrome strip in the middle part of the hood. The new piece is made of stainless steel mesh surrounded by strips of stainless steel bar welded together and polished. I was looking for that Barris -look with it. The "Formica-Googie" pattern in the scallop is inspired of the old tabletop graphics.

Pekka... Thanks for the old taillights. They found a good new home at the rear panel of my coupe.

Wow! That is gonna look so cool! Are you gonna use a piece of mesh, like the hood piece to fill out the area between the headlights & parkinglights? Excellent work!

Sweet Jesus, Joseph and Mary those tail lights look nice. They are a much better match than the ones that came off.

    Boing!
Nice work and good choice for which front end re-style to go with. The Tailights look great, but the new front end is even better!!

Totally love the Formica boomerangs - I hope those make it back onto the finished car.
