I have a 27 T roadster glass Body, that someone put some nice insets for taillights in. the lights would have to be approx 2 1/2"-2 3/4" X 7".
Does anyone have any Idea what would fit??
    Thanks in advance.

Maybe some nice fiberglass, and some resin would fit in there just fine!

    But thats just my opinion.

Hmmm, I'd guess Vega, but that's just a guess. Those were pretty populer back in the seventies. I think some more 'glass and resin would fit better, maybe with some '50 Pontiac tails instead.

I have a similar dilema, where can you get the plastic to make lens from? Any idea? I found clear red plexiglass, but not the type that diffuses it, you know that has all the little triangles in the glass. Sorry not trying to steal your thread but you may end up also having to make lenses for yours.

Just use the stuff you can buy at the hardware store for kitchen lights.

I guess '59 chevy lights are out of the question?

Looks to me like four 59 Caddy lights would slide right in there - that's four on each side, that is. Plug them holes and do the previously suggested Ponchos or 46-48 Fords.

If you like the openings and want to keep them, you could always go to the jy and find some lenses that are larger and grind or belt sand them to size.

Lighting Diffuser is what your looking for. comes in flat sheets with the little bumps on it. I got some clear which I place behind red plastic for taillights. works OK. I'll look for it and post a picture in the morning
