and he can't take a picture of it either, I suppose?

The Super T-10 was used in the late 70s, maybe that's what it is?

It's in the Facebook Marketplace with pictures, that's where I got the numbers and it looks like it has the 26 spline input which makes it the later Super T10, just wanting a good fit for hooking up to an 8BA.

  5. Sooo it looks like - we can't see but if the numbers fit.....

Right-click on the facebook picture, then "save as" and name the photo. Then you can post it here.

Casting 6-6-79, June 6 1979. Aluminium case GM ST10. BW produced them between 1974 & 1982 for GM A & B body cars. ST10 had the larger 26sp input shaft and not the earlier and smaller 10sp input shaft. Look at grooves on input shaft to determine ratios.

there are several ways to take a screen shot, depending on what version of android you are using. And there are other ways to save an image, but where it goes can be hard to figure out, and depend on how the phone is configured. There are forums for folks to learn about how to use their phone...this forum is more about old hot rods.

Yes, and trying to answer questions without complete information about what the person is working with, is really frustrating.

which might or might not work, because some fb marketplaces are closed groups. If it's a closed group, the rest of us can't see the item. So a screen shot is a way to get it posted here.

  18. I have one of those 1979 or 1980 cast iron Super T10's...so they weren't all made of aluminum...pulled it out of a Z28.

Granted I have not seen everything but a cast iron ST-10 is a new one for me. I have bought a brand new ST-10 from Doug Nash in 1981 and was not offered the cast iron case, mine is aluminum as is the one I just sold that was out of a 79 Corvette. So I learned something new and on my birthday!
