    Hello all,

I'm installing a 56" wheel mount surface to wheel mount surface 9" in my full fendered 29 RPU. I have a 8 leaf T spring. I am unsure if I need to put the spring mounts at 48-1/4 like the T or 49-1/4 like the A? It's gonna be real tight to get the mounts to the 49-1/4 as the housing is only 51 bearing flange to bearing flange. I will probably have to rotate the backing plates either way.

    Anybody have any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Stan.

I did the same thing. Since i was buying a new spring anyways i got posies ultra narrow model a spring. it made my car real low and i ended up having to make some spacers for the spring and for the wheels so I didn't rub the tires on the body. It only barely touched, I'm also using spring behind and 32 frame. You application may differ. You could also get your spring narrowed.
