so when you buy yer-self a T-Shirt at an event or off-line or what ever, be it an Ed "Big Daddy" Roth shirt, autoramam, concert, etc. Do you like the art work to be screen'd on the frot or the back of the T-Shirt? FRITZ
t shirt must have a pocket for my smokes is the #1 thing i look for. then it has to be some thing that is not stupid . also prefer nothing on the front.
I prefer image on the back, and maybe something real small on the front (Ie right above the pocket if it has one)
Small front logo. Large back logo. No pocket. If its a large logo on the front I wont buy it no matter how cool the logo looks. Like I told the woman at The Rodders Journal booth Saturday at Paso, "I'm fat, it will look like you are looking at a funhouse mirror."
I've grown to like t's w/ the image down on either the right or left hand side of the shirt, tilted outward or inward. I dig that subtle stuff.
I usuallly get the reject ratfink tee's you get directly from the Ed Roth tee seller at Pomona or LB swaps. They're alway 5 bucks and you get about 4-5 screens on one shirt be it upside down, under the armpit. those are the best. PLease put me down for some reject tee's from you.
Maybe being raised in the 70s screwed me up...but I like a big image on the front and nothing on the back...but a big image front AND rear can be cool, too...as long as the images are different!
I use to have waist length hair till last Nov. Up till then images on the back were useless. I still like my images on the front so I can see them myself.......also hides the fact that I miss my mouth sometimes while eating.
I like the big image on the front, maybe another big image or something smallish in the center of the back. I also like when people print smalls, cause I'm a shrimp, but no one prints small shirts.
when we had King Dick of Kalifronia we found that the guys in the colder areas liked the design on the front so u could see them when they had their jackets on. the guys in the warmer areas liked them on the back.
A big design on the back with a smaller one on the front looks good, but after my years of wearing punk T's, I'm also fond of a big design on the front [and hotrodladycrusr brings up a good point about front designs and stain control. Food, oil, grime and 1-Shot are highly attracted to the front of my shirts]. Either way, I generally like my shirts in basic colors [black or white, usually] with a tasteful design [nothing gaudy or too brightly colored. I don't want to look like a walking beach umbrella]. Off center designs look cool, too.
...............big image on the back, small logo on the front, dark color shirt and 4 xxxxlg!! fat people don't like tight shirts!
We like 'em either way.....back,front, it doesn't matter because we know they will end up with paint, holes, and chemicals on them.......then they make great paint rags..... As for designs, we like shirts best when they have OUR graphics..... What are you working on ,Herr Fritz?
small image in front, and a large image in the back....i really dont like shirts with the whole front printed up, and nothing in the back.
small logo on the front, (pockets are nice, but not necessary) large on the back. colors fine,, must be large enough to fit the beer storage/staging area
You're going to get every possible response. Image on the front, in the punk tradition. We all wear jackets. Doesn't matter much to me, though. Most t-shirt designs are garbage. Whoever established the "look" of most car shirts -- three views of three cars, printed in as many ink colors as possible, should be sacked.
I like um big XXL , tents actually. Preferably black ,grey or tan little or no logo's (products) why pay them to let me advertise. No G-Men or NSSSSSSRA No rude statements Scantily clad women ,Fine. Who the hell is Cooter Brown?
