Cricket cricket.....mas pics please!
I've gotten mine pretty low with just 3 inch blocks... I guess the springs are weak as I'm an inch lower at least then Alex's '64... I don't know why. Finally Looking how I want her too!
I just took some pics so I might as well add mine.
Does anyone have any pics of the gold sedan in the 2nd pic. does it belong to a hamber?
Took these today at the Mobtown Greaseball
the gold sedan belongs to a buddy of mine, i will see if i can dig up a few more pictures of it.
Here's my contribution.
most of this was because the trunk was full of shlitz. haha
harms ways "ladykiller"

JANNE. that is so freakin AWESOME. maybe someday i can get you to do one of my 47 Chevy coupe. i finished my first skirt on it last night...
here is one i havent seen yet on this thread..
got to keep this thread alive...
stole this pic from a fellow HAMBer...
AH YES. JJ's 36 coupe. love that car... love 36 Ford coupes for that matter.
That chop didnt improve the lines of that 36, it ruined the lines, IMO. The roof is no longer round and flowing, its flat. At least its shiney!
your not wrong and i would'nt build mine that way (if i had one) but that chop does give it a certain "gangster" charm... maybe it's just me.
I do agree, it does have a "mean" look in a cool way. By the way, Im posting some pics now on your Traditional Body Mods... thread from the Barris books
took ya long enough ...
heres my olds as she sits now, needs to be lower....
funny thing about this pic, im in the process of moving out of the apartment thats door is right above the rear quarter. its #14, but it should've been 13 but they skipped it.
Aaahhhh yes the Black Dahlia...sweet ride i love this car!!
someday i will drive mine around.
I went through every page on this topic - what a great thread! Here's Ironwork's '38...with Packard grille
Check out my tail!
Frenz, Those are some way KOOL tail draggers. I hope my '41 Ford Business Coupe turns out at leAST HALF AS GOOD !
´40 Buick Design.
*´42-´48 Ford bumpers
*Chopped and hardtopped roof
*Restyled runningboards, door bottoms & door tops (rounded)
The real car is under channeling at this moment.
I put these pics to Art Show too.
that is friggin AWESOME Janne. i'd love to have you draw my 47 Chevy.
Wow! Great art as always, Janne.
Since it looks like it's going down the very traditional California late 40's -
early 50's line, I would like to add a few things that would make it even more
stylish and traditional in my eyes..
1. Like we always argue about, ha ha... Appletons!
2. Front bumper guards and license plate
3. Use the fastback quarter panel trim mouldings. They are much longer and
stretches the look of the rear of the car.
4. Rise the front at least 1". Now it's a little too flat with the ground and has
I know your opinion about the spots, but... On these kustoms they lift the
car from the late 90's touch...
I really like that you haven't done the sidewindows with rounded B-pillar, just
leaning it. I am looking at the same treatment for my Merc to be a bit
different from the Matranga-look.
Keep up your fabulous work!!!
