I'm trying to fit a five speed transmission to my 65 buick 300. Will a 1995 t-5 manual transmission work, or do I need an earlier T-5 tranny. I'm not able to find any info on it, so please help! Thanks Bob

1995 probably has the Ford mounting pattern. That can complicate things. There are adapters to use it behind GM bellhousings with the "traditional" pattern, but I'd look for a '92 and older with the GM pattern.

My first choice for this swap would be a Camaro/Firebird V8 trans - should bolt to the GM bellhousing w/o any significant issues...
