I need some technical advice....I am planning on installing coil overs on my 63 Falcon....this is going to be strictly a strip car...it will not be on the street. I saw on the Summit website a kit that has everything except the upper crossmember (( Competition Engineering 2765)). So I have a couple questions....

    1) Is this a good kit to start with? I know when you get more serious that you upgrade, but want something decent to start with.

    2) If this is a good kit, what should the upper crossmember size be? Should it be tubing, or solid? What size? What wall thickness?

3)What would you set the shocks at? What does it mean 90 /10 50 /50 etc.?

4)Is it ok to weld on the rear without taking it all apart? It is a ford 9"

This is all kind of new to me, so i'm counting on all the experts out there to help me out! I might have some other questions as this thread unfolds, and will patiently listen.....Thanks!
