Going to be heading back up there in a few minutes for day three, so far the cars and gasser/willy's guys have been real cool The tracks people well that's a different story. I am going to try and get out with my son today to take as many photos as we can to share with those who could not be there.

  4. I'm out the door in a few as well, looks like it's going to be a great day weather wise and those track guys allways have things screwed up. I'm charging the camera batteries as I type so I'll snap a few too.

    Thanks for pics guys!

  16. Nice video Jeff, just multiply that two minutes times three days and that was what was going down. I didn't take many pictures but took the time to b.s. with tons of people and found great hospitality at Jeff and Neil's place and even bought some grest looking shirts and stuff from Norwell.

Hey Phil, it was nice to see you for the quick 'hi'. I figured i'd be around longer than i was but it didn't work that way..I had wanted to catch up with you again. Guess i'll see you at Jesse's.
    Thanks for the pics too!
I have a few i took, not many though. I'll start another thread later maybe and see if anyone else has some they can add to it.
There certainly was enough great cars there to photograph.

Jeff, the truck looks great! I passed by a couple times but didn't see much action at the trailer when i did..I was hoping to meet you. Hopefully next year!! :)

Phil.... you are correct!!...way too much goings on in 3 days...action abounded.
I think the track announcer stated there were a 160 Willys at the meet. Was i hearing things?
Aside from Willys, the Anglias,Fiats,Henry J's,straight axle cars the smells the noise.it was incredible.By Sunday at 7:30 at night.. the action was going strong..I had to go...
Border traffic was heavy and the ride was loooonnngg.I got home at 12 midnight.
Phil...we really enjoyed hanging with ya!

Tony, I strolled around your truck and was looking for ya.....Next year for sure.

This event is a great hidden gem.

And my cohorts,Neil and Mike.... the James Boys,.. Paul,Jim and K.S.... provided all the shits and giggles for a whole year. Thanks guys.

  25. Did ya see the front radius rods bend on this one ? The guy straightend them the best he could and kept on racing, hardcore right there.

Ya, I think I read in Gasser Wars magazine that when this guy made his first pass ever in this car it went 150mph(If I remember correctly) the driver and car put on a great show.
