I got this built 60s Monogram 36 Ford in the mail today,it fell apart some in transit so it's going back together and will be adding some detail. It had mismatched rims and found a matching set in stock and now to try to match the paint.
Sprayed a Tamiya white primer base. Then Tamiya Pearl light red. Clear and polish to come. Mocked up the Lincoln bumpers.
This arrived in the mail today,I was going to rob some parts off of it for a all 60s kit bash but this one is too nice too,did find one that came with the box and unused parts that is coming apart that I will use for parts.
I am going to get my grandson a subscription to a model car magazine for Christmas. Suggestions on the best one for a beginner? Thanks, Dennis

I know it's only Thursday, but I just finished this one today and wanted to post it up. Decided to build a scale model of the truck that has been in my head for the past 5 years. This model is the precursor to the actual build... a proof of concept, if you will. Sorry for the quality as this is the first plastic scale model Ive built in decades. The weathering came out okay, I guess. I didn't use the frame that came in the box. Instead, I used my drawings and scaled down the full sized frame I've already built to 1/25th scale. Worked beautifully.
