I'll start with a 62 altered.

 

Tools in the trunk?! I can't even paint my nails without getting it every where.......and you put tools in the trunk!

 

just finished the merc and funnycar today still working on the 51 which was inspired by a pic here on the HAMB.

Redid this ERTL diecast some time ago.
The Babyblue color it came in really bugged me,I opted for some rust treatment.

 

Flathead with 4 exhaust ports? Is that the way the diecast came?

 

Looks like different headers added afterwards

 

Yeah, I have the same casting. somebody did not do their research very well before approving the molds.

 

ya ,never realized the headers on mine[ive had it for a long time also].they also had turnouts on em ,which im lobbing off also.

This is a body I am making for an RC truck. I made it from scratch using sheets of styrene plastic. It's a 57 ford 1/10 scale.

 

Holy crap!! Scratch built from styrene sheet- thats amazing.

 

Great stuff....you guys need to be locked up.....

 

Very nice work. You should consider having a mold made so you can cast them in resin before you hit the whoops in it. You could easily get 100 bucks + per body for them. Gary

 

Man that is fantastic. what chassis have you based it on. Is that an old Tamiya?

Yeah it is based on a tamiya kit with leaf springs. I had a 57 in high school so this is why I built it.

 

Looks good! Love the Monogram '40 pickup--it still holds up very well.
