Lets start of Sunday with something I found in my closet. a 255 Ford Flathead v8 from a 1950 convertible. when I was working on it I was going hot rod with the engine adding dual 97's and in what I think is hot rod red. got a little out of hand with Photo booth
Not all of the cool models were in Toledo.... We had a blast at the KKIM fall show in Cedarville, IL yesterday.... "Primer Award" winner...... Frank LuQue's Falcon Speedster. "Bowl Me Over" winner... It has been pretty dry for me lately. I started this last sunday and was hoping to have it done for the KKIM meet yesterday that NitroMarty mentioned above. It was just a simple lil AMT 29 Roadster banger project that has been in my head for awhile.
Getting back into models after a long hiatus. This'll be a typical modern-day "gasser" truck. Satin burgundy w/ a white roof, parts box wheels & tires. Its mostly "box stock", though I'm scratch building the front tube axle & leaf springs, as I didn't like what the kit offered...
